Alex Elbers
Alex Elbers (b. 1986, Venray, NL) is a contemporary mixed-media artist based in Eygelshoven. His practice centers on the use of self-made inks and oil paints applied to layered and cut canvas. Elbers is noted for his intricate, multilayered compositions, which highlight texture, depth, and the interplay of light across the surface.Inspired by natural forms, disruptive patterns, and the dynamic interplay of light, Elbers’ work is distinguished by its innovative approach to materials and craftsmanship.
